Since 2002, I've been a natural light portrait photographer specializing in relaxed, low-key sessions to authentically and beautifully capture the essence of personalities and feelings through light-filled color and classic black & white images.

Based in Arlington, Virginia, I love collaborating with families, seniors, couples, and professionals throughout the Washington DC, Virginia, and Maryland areas.

I started my career working for Arthur Andersen and then Accenture, but after our first of three children were born, I was inspired to learn how a camera, the art of observation, and a little creative-thinking could help me document the details about our children's mannerisms and personalities that were disappearing before I was ready to let them go.  

 

What started as a passion fueled by countless chaotic and bittersweet moments of motherhood, evolved into a small business.  Everyday, I'm grateful to be able to continue doing what I love with families and professionals.
